Had I not read this book, I would have forbiden regurgitating the same nonsense I was taught in my college level anthropology class, for lack of having any better information to process and arcueology. And I haven’t even gotten to the weird parts yet. There’s a problem loading this menu right now. I’ve been wanting to read the original reports rather than condensed and heavily edited versions for quite some time and didn’t know how to find them.
Of course, the authors would argue this is for thoroughness. I thought the authors presented their information in an orderly manner, and the did their best to explain the logic behind their theories, which made sense to me since I had taken archeology classes. Mainstream science, however, has supppressed these facts. Cremo continued the theme of Forbidden Archeology in his later books, such as in Forbidden Archeology’s Impact Over the centuries, researchers have found bones and artifacts proving that humans like us have existed for millions of years.
Likewise much physical evidence is dated based upon theoretical correlations with sedimentary layers and agreement with standard theory rather than any attempt to, for instance, radioactively date the material.

It’s writing style is more than a bit dry, so I probably should have given it a 3 star review, but the content was so much fun in a peculiar way that I michsel had to give it four.
